Meet the Maker
Plum House Pottery began as a way for Seattle ceramicist Patty Raz to decompress from a high-stress corporate career — a quiet corner of life where she could make something slowly, methodically, and with her hands. What started as a form of rest became a true passion: creating pieces that feel comforting, lived-in, and made to be used every day.
Each piece is wheel-thrown in her (very) small home studio in Seattle, designed to bring warmth, texture, and a sense of calm beauty to the spaces we live in. Patty’s style blends old-world charm with practical daily use — where everything feels effortless, soft, and perfectly imperfect.
Every mug, bowl, vase, and bell carries subtle variations that tell its own story — proof that it was made intentionally, thoughtfully, and by human hands.
At its heart, Plum House Pottery is about creating things that make a house feel loved: timeless pieces for daily rituals, quiet moments, and the stillness in an ordinary day.
About Plum House Pottery Products
Every Plum House Pottery piece is made by hand in Seattle, Washington.
Because each peice is shaped, glazed, and fired by hand, no two are ever exactly alike — and that’s the beauty of them. These small variations in size, tone, and form are what make every piece feel truly personal and one-of-a-kind.
