Meet the Maker
Plum House Pottery began as a way for Seattle ceramicist Patty Raz to decompress from a high-stress corporate career - a quiet corner of life where she could make something slowly, methodically, and with her hands. What started as a form of rest became a true passion: creating pieces that are made to make every day feel more purposeful.
Each piece is unique - wheel-thrown and hand built in her cozy home studio in Seattle and carries subtle variations that confirm it’s thoughtfully made by human hands.
At its heart, Plum House Pottery is about creating things that make a house feel loved: timeless pieces for daily rituals, quiet moments, and the stillness in an ordinary day.
Every piece is handmade using mid-range stoneware clay and dinner safe glazes.
Where does the name Plum House Pottery come from? Patty named it after her home - a 120 year old craftsman bungalow - which she plans on painting the perfect shade of purple one day.
